Well I started doing questions from past papers from the end of Term 1 of the HSC (questions on the topics we had covered obviously). I did them under time pressure. And then I've done full papers since beginning of term 3 (prior to trials). :)

Take a break - even if it's only for an hour or too. Go outside, get some sunshine or go for a walk - do something relaxing.

Thanks NSWTutors. I did 3 HSC subjects last yr and my tip is: When revising English quotes, Chemistry formulas etc. write them on a post it note and stick them to the wall in places you go regularly (eg. near your desk, by the bed, in the living room). It works!

Definitely glance at the question when checking through the paper - why wouldn't you? Then you can decide what to look at first in reading time (eg. challenging questions or those that may require extra planning time?). That is my strategy anyway.

Does anyone have any idea what kind of raw marks you need to get a Band 5 or band 6 in General Math, Biology or Agriculture? Any advice would be appreciated! :)

Top mark at my school was 95 but the Teachers said it was a VERY tough paper.

SAM just told me I could get 99.2 with only 2 band sixes and I don't think that would be accurate.

That was my final / published result from BoS. Not sure if it helps in answering this person's question at all
