Last semester does not equal to graduation year. Usually you attend a graduating ceremony half a year later, and that would be indicate your OFFICIAL graduating year.

I've never had to take a bus to uni before, but there are more bus options at Town Hall instead of Central, from what I know.

I believe you can start getting them at FM Assist now, once you have your student number and everything. You should get your concession sticker on the ID card too, in the same procedure. Don't forget to bring some form of identification that day. =) Hope this helps!

You can always use library computers (which are extremely fast, btw), but the queues right after the hour are hectic. Uniwide is free, you use your student number and unipass (the password you login for myUNSW) for accessing it, so the uni sort of keeps track of everything you do. If you're not...
