Hi guys, I am thinking of taking COMP2907 (adv) but what is the difference between the standard and advanced streams? I have heard that COMP2007 is one of the hardest computing courses in Australia, would that make COMP2907 impossible? What are your experiences with the UoS? Thanks

Hi guys, I remember at UNSW every student had to do a small coursework on plagiarism and academic honesty and I noticed on the left hand side of the USyd blackboard there is a link to Academic Honesty and a test. Is this compulsory? I wasn't told by anyone that I have to do this yet.

Unless the lecturer wrote the book I wouldn't be skeptical on whether to get the book. Also get it second hand, you can sell it back by Sem 2 and get most of what you paid back anyway.

I think its all automatic, just collect a new timetable from the site. If you are unsure of anything and confused about which UoS you should pick, I suggest you email or call your course coordinator, they should be able sort everything out for you.

Yes you can apply for engineering at UNSW in Semester 2 through UAC. I know Macquarie has places too, just go on respective uni websites or give then a call.

The person who enrolled you might have made a mistake and put a semester 2 UoS in semester 1. That's what happened to me. Go to your MyUni > Admin > Enrolment Variation > Drop a UoS

That is 30 Credit points, for my course I can only take 24 per semester.

Try a different browser. If it doesn't work e-mail your course coordinator, they fixed a enrolment issue I had.
