Haha we kinda just skipped that chapter =P I had double maths today, wasn't too bad. Can someone help me with this: Form a pair of simultaneous equations and solve them to find x and y, given that they are rational. x-3+\sqrt{y+2}%20=-1+\sqrt{5} I've completely forgotten simultaneous eqns.

We've started Ch2 (Nos and functions) in the cambridge 3U textbook. We got up to Equality of Surdic Expressions today.

I got a school planner/diary thing today and it had like all these pages in it of study tips etc etc and one page had an example of a weekly study/work timetable... and there was only 3hrs of "leisure time" in that entire week and i was like x_x

!!! Had my first day of school today, it was okay... I got Studies or Religion (1 unit) instead of Modern history.. and the only way I can switch to modern is if I drop SDD. And the only thing I can switch SOR for is ext english. I think I'll just keep the SOR (hate english) and switch SDD...

My old school had 80min periods.. and the year before that they had 1hr periods with the ocassional 45min one.

Hmm maybe I should do this sometime. I live like under 10min walk away from the local library.

I did that book last year! It isn't too long or difficult, I didn't mind it at all. Don't worry! You have until yr12 to try and get some motivation.

Oh wow do you have any periods before/after school?

That's super early. I think its 8.45 for me, not quite sure. My old school, we started at 8.20

I don't start til tomorrow!

Between 3.45-4pm, depending on which bus I get.

For history, I just write notes and read them over and over, rewrite them out. I feel just memorising it works for me, there's just a lot of facts you have to know.

I don't mind coming to school early, but I really don't want any after school periods :(
