Do you think it would be a useful second major to marketing?

Just wanted to know if anyone chose to do this or the equivalent (depending on your uni) as a second major and was it any good?

Are you sure you qualify for the bonus points? I'm not an international student but qualifications are overseas and when they coverted mine into an ATAR that was it - I am not entitled to any bonus points.

I'm just looking for anyone who has done decision science as a commerce major. I am thinking of taking it as a second major, my first being marketing and wanted to see what people thought of it. Thanks!

It's hard to say I know an advanced diploma pass = 80 + but it depends on others factors they make take into consideration. UAC may be able to give you an idea of what they assessed your ATAR to be. If your diploma is your best grade - I wouldn't hang on to getting into a course above 90. But...

You may find you can do that as a double degree rather than a double major!

I have - you never know =) Doesn't hurt to try, it doesn't affect you if you get your third preference. You will kick yourself if you find out you could of got in if you had just put it as your first preference.

Seems weird if it's trying to compete with the other uni's why it is so inflexible in comparison.

Great thanks - Guess I have to work with that as I only got a 90.00 so can't get into USyd or UNSW where you can double major and don't have to pick your majors till 2nd year.
