    2003 MC Question

    Solution above, MPC = ΔC/ΔY and MPS = ΔS/ΔY
  2. P

    2003 MC Question

    k = 1/1-MPC or 1/MPS So going back that 2011 HSC Question, MPC = ΔC/ΔY = 90/150 =0.6 k = 1/1-MPC = 1/1-0.6 = 2.5 Therefore, New equilibrium income = Previous equilibrium income + k x ΔI = 300 + 2.5 x 40 = 400
  3. P

    2003 MC Question

    You use the multiplier and/or MPC rather than Y = C + I I believe, not entirely sure.
  4. P

    2003 MC Question

    Tim Riley has a 10/10 explanation on this, but I dont think it will be tested due to the amended syllabus change in 2010. Chuck the 0.8y over to the left hand side. 1y - 0.8y = 0.2y (m8 math).
  5. P

    2003 MC Question

    y = c + i y = 100 + 0.8y + 40 0.2y = 140 y = 140/0.2 = 700

    Some binomial questions

    7 (a) Simply equate the coefficients of x^r for both sides. 8 (a) If you inspect the expansion of (1+x)^n you realise the expansion is actually that sigma form when you let x=1 9 (a) Simply equate the coefficients of x^(n+r) for both sides.

    Same sex marriages

    Agreed, look at Joffrey Baratheon nuf said.

    2012 hsc q20MC

    Pb2+ + 2Cl- ⟶ PbCl2(s) n(PbCl2) = m/M = 0.595/278.1 = 0.00214 mol n(Pb2+) = 0.00214 mol m(Pb2+) = 0.00214 x 207.2 = 0.4434 g c(Pb2+) = 0.4434/0.0500 = 8.87 g/L

    Getting moderated internally?

    Become rank 1 and you can achieve any atar you want.
  11. P

    Getting moderated internally?

    Not really, those who worked hard in school assessments deserve to be more awarded than those who slacked off. This is why you need to push everyone to destroy the external exams.
  12. P

    Getting moderated internally?

    http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/hsc-results/understanding.html The school mark will be moderated based on your cohort's performance. Let's say you are the middle of a cohort of 3 students, and you all respectively earned school internal marks of 70, 63, 60. However in the external exam...

    Internal mark and final report mark you mean what your school gives you?
  14. P

    Getting moderated internally?

    If you're first then yes. However, your external performance will not affect your moderated assessment mark much (most likely still dragged down) if you in the middle of your cohort.

    maths tutor

    Good luck finding that student, although maybe Jonah Soewandito might accept since he'll have plenty of time since he'll finish HSC at 12 years of age.
