If they ask ''two or more related texts''...

Is it frowned upon to use the stimulus?

If they ask ''two or more related texts''...

If the BOS does this for section one, I don't really know if I have a back up, I mean i would have to find one that I know pretty well... but should I spend much time on this? And for Paper two of English adv, in conflicting perspectives they can ask for your prescribed text and TWO other...

What do you do when you feel you are scared about the HSC, ATARS, etc?

I mean since the exams are closer and closer, I am getting really scared of the process, fear of not even improving, fear of WAITING for the ATAR and the day I open that text or email... What do you do to not get so worried about it all?

Is UWS really as bad as everyone gives it credit for??

I am surprised at what people are actually saying about this University. Firstly, getting into University at all is a great achievement. Secondly, why can't people just be greatful for having the opportunity to have an education in the first place? We are so fortunate, and it all depends on...

    Is 91+ Possible

I think it depends on the student, I have witnessed so many exceed expectations :)

    Is 91+ Possible

Ahh okay, because last year there was a strong cohort (highest 98.9 I believe) and previous was 99.5 (don't exactly remember the .5 bit) and we are rank in the hundreds (i completely forgot now) but we did pretty well, and this year we have a pretty strong cohort, does that mean we help each...

    Is 91+ Possible

Why? Even if you are not a top 100 school why does that matter? UAC has always told me that the school doesn't matter, unless they are lying. And who knows, maybe he can beat the expectations and shouldn't be limited right?

    Dr Who

OH GOD IT WAS SO GOOD. Watching i'm like ''Omg omg omg'' throughout. SPOILERS: But I do agree that the reason for the break up was kind of weird... And I really liked Oswin, I liked Jennas acting. :) Btw Jenna becomes human later probably right?

Year 12 2012 Chit Chat Thread

Are there any good websites on how to write a smashing creative? Because for my trials, creative was quite low and I was actually surprised to be honest. My teacher really liked it but another teacher marked mine and though I understand her feedback, I was a bit concerned...

Dr Pepper's "I had good ranks and screwed them with trials" Club

So I have all my trial results now... I am quite disappointed in my marks in a few subjects... But the thing is, I have done really well in internals (assessments, essays, in class, etc) Does this mean I still have a chance to do reasonable well? (I know my trials are worth 10% for ext...

Were you always the smartest before HSC Year?

I've often done consistently well in English/ histories. It has always been subjects as well that I like, and I often did not do as well in Maths/sciences, because I simply did not try as hard. I mean when I started Studies of Religion in year 11, it was and still is my best subject, mainly...
