    Internal Program Transfer

If you are in your second or third year of study, your WAM will be more heavily weighted than ATAR. I think there are specific courses where there are exceptions. You would need to check with the school.

    UNSW Optometry + alternative pathways

Ah I see...still dunno how he got in with that UMAT score though :/

Guys could you please help me :)

I think if you pull up your Physics and Chemistry a bit, you should be able to get at least 85. My school rank was in the low 200 and I got 85+, so just try your best to pull up your better scaling subjects like Chemistry, Physics and Adv English :)

    UNSW Optometry + alternative pathways

His UMAT was legit <40 and his ATAR was 94... wonder how he got in if AAA doesn't apply? O.o ^^ Legit question btw. If AAA doesn't apply, does that mean he doesn't get the $4k?

Can anyone explain how a university transfer actually works

ATAR cutoffs vary each year due to the number of applicants. So it really depends. As for uni transfer through UAC, they will combine your current WAM and ATAR and convert it into a new WAM, which will then be used to be considered for the course. It might be best to ring them and ask about...

    Internal Program Transfer

If you apply through UAC, they take combine current WAM and ATAR and convert it into a new WAM. Mind you, if you had a poor ATAR, the combined WAM could possibly be lower than your current WAM.

    UNSW Optometry + alternative pathways

I know someone who got offered a spot with a very low UMAT and a 94 ATAR. But mind you, he also had AAA scholarship. I know for sure, HSC Plus is definitely not applicable to this course, not sure about EAS. In terms of competitiveness via the pathway, it is highly competitive with only a...

Internal assessments - Are we allowed to keep it?

^^ That I understand, in other subjects you could keep them. But just in this subject she's been a pain and has never given any of them back to take home. She insists that it's BOS rules that you're not allowed to keep them. I couldn't find anything on it but thought I would check with peeps...

Which Australian university has the higest international prestige out of these????

Re: Which Australian university has the higest international prestige out of these??? A lot of first years have trouble adjusting to this, but once you get the hang of it, you're better off than other unis who go slower in the practical stuff.

Which Australian university has the higest international prestige out of these????

Re: Which Australian university has the higest international prestige out of these??? Let me warn you now though, UTS course for communications goes EXTREMELY quick. First years are already out and about at tv stations by the end of first sem.

Is this considered as cheating? And is this fair?

Blue Suede is right. People shouldn't really be telling their friends what's in the test if they haven't done it. That's just putting themselves in a disadvantaged position. But in practical terms, I think you might be able to appeal to the head. I can't be certain but I remember something...

Internal assessments - Are we allowed to keep it?

Hey guys, I'm just curious are we allowed to keep the tests that we do in school that count towards our assessment tasks after it's been marked? Is there an official BOS rule that prevents this or is this a school thing?
