my answers are mostly the same as yours. except I said text 2 is negative by using negative emotive language and the self-distancing pronoun. I said both positive and negative to start with. but as I thought more about it - the negative view has over powered the positive in the last paragraph...

text 1 - fine. text 2 - not really clear in terms of how they portray the sense of community and belonging. but the questions were okay I think. text 3 - fine. essay - I practiced something like this in trial question so I was fine.

don't leave your desk. you will look like you are cheating or something. I think using while you are doing your exam is fine.

for me, it will be pretty annoying. there is one kid that kept doing one of those pen tricks in one of our in-class assessment task and almost every time he dropped his pen, there was a death stare around.
