    best textbooks:

I remember the horrors of reading that book. It was too much and much of it was unnecessary. The Heinemann provides was a lot easier to read, but provided very brief details, though the Davies book is greater in detail.

    BAcc 2014 Intake

Not sure what's going on. I'll just wait for a while - say a couple of hours. If it doesn't work for the day I'll suggest calling them up, even calling them now wouldn't hurt. Could be a database problem for commencing students. Continuing students is working fine at the moment.

Why have you had a detention?

The only detention while I was in primary school was getting your name written on the board. If that didn't worked, they'll send you the principal. I remember back in Year 1, I've hit the person next to me because he kept touching me. I've hitted him so hard that he cried. So my teacher wrote...

How do bonus points work for Usyd courses? (Including EAS)

I hear from my careers advisor that the maximum that Syd Uni. would give for EAS points is generally 4-5 points. I'm not sure, they do indeed have a very vague pointing system. Just check with others to see what they have to say.

I'd say your friend has a good chance. The maximum is 5 bonus points for HSC performance. What bands did you friend achieved in maths? I don't study @ Macquarie Uni so I wouldn't say much about this uni. If your friend also applied for EAS (Lighthouse Scheme), it'll put it in a greater chance...

    What have you eaten today?

"Pho Mumum". I've studied here for almost a year now and encountered this place for the very first time just 2 weeks ago. Nice staff though, but the tables were very sticky and very cramped. I wouldn't also expect them to give out water using home-like cups to its customers. Now I can see why...
