Your working out has to be right though.. e.g. The superannuation question. 1 mark for setting up the geometric series, 1 mark for solving. If you can only set it up correctly you will still get a mark without solving (hence 1 mark loss)..

Yeah it was bound between the curve and y axis.. Therefore must be x^2 equals.. I started to make it y^2 equals but quickly realised :)

They used it in the question.. So why can't we :P

Shouldn't iii) be 0.4? You multiply the branches of of the tree to get the probability, then add them all together.. EDIT: wrong answer, dont freaaaak... Especially me >.<
