I only post if I have something to add to the conversation. I neg rep people who are being ignorant. I am more likely to neg rep people who complain about neg rep. My god, are you that wrapped up in your internetsreps?
I just bought William James' "On a Certain Blindness In Human Beings"! Good good good good good! I love James' discertations! Very eloquent and rational. And very applicable to human society. There were no Hume's there though, which I was hoping for when I found the section in the shop.
Yes, though his rantings aren't very effective in terms of enthralling the common reader (as the Twilight of the Idols is aimed at). Though to be kind, he was approaching delerium by then.
I've heard that's interesting; I'm starting on Neitzsche's Twilight of the Idols, though so far it's just nihilist rantings and venemous anti-socratism.
In modern we're doing The American Civil-Rights movement, which should be interesting, though it isn't; and especially as we spent half of last year studying the aboriginal-rights movement this current topic feels very SC'ish.
Wow. Maths accelerated? And you've published your own book? That's so cool! Off topic; but hows modern going for you? My class is doing shitty topics so I'm thinking of dropping it. And off topic again; what philosophy texts are your favourite ones? A Modern Introduction to Philosophy by Edward and Pap is my favourite so far.
Well I was. I didn't realise untill fourth term last year that doing an accelerated subject was a prerequisite to applying. Though I want to pick up SOR1 (hopefully) and it could be my accelerated subject. (Easiest accelerated subject possible, I know, lol) What accelerated course did/are you do/doing? And thanks for the add btw.
