So just out of curiosity, is anyone else here struggling with economics or receiving low marks?? It's rather the teachers marking assessment tasks and exams at my school are ridiculously hard or a majority of us are incapable of understanding concepts evident in the subject...

so i really wouldn't be affected by dropping maths?

Well actually i want to get a Bachelor of Commerce degree in accounting.

I've been struggling lately across the board for all my subjects this term. Even though my ranks are actually pretty good, my maths rank has dropped to 51/79...... With 12units, this really doesnt worry me however, ive been finding economics extremely difficult this term and im ranked 12/34...

hmmm so in other words, i could perform poorly but get a reasonable rank and still get a good atar by performing well in the hsc??

Out of curiosity, how does a relatively poor performance in your first two assessment task (all subjects) affect your atar, especially when you improve dramatically in your marks/ranks during you next assessment task and trials??

Ok so i just received my mark for my first english assessment task and my rank was awful. In the prelims i was ranked 10th and came 3rd in the preliminary exams. Yet in my first hsc exam i got a rank of 70.......am i screwed for my atar!?
