i think i read somewhere that you won't be allowed to join a class until you do the english test thing (the one that determines whether or not your english is good enough for your course)
thanks for all the responses guys, i went to the info day at uts today and was told that enrolment can be done online and overseas - as long as you have an internet connection - those who want to claim credit for prior courses/classes/things(?) might need to enrol in person though

@parvee + @annundies 20-25 hours seems like a lot (i'm not sure though because i've no experience) is there a lot of study to do at home on top of that? i wonder if it's possible to balance a part time...
I'm planning on going into engineering and would like to know some more about it (detail would be much appreciated, thank you). What's studying engineering like? (i.e. what are the subjects like - does study take up a lot of time - what are contact hours like - how difficult is it in comparison...
