Finally have a day off tomorrow! Worked 42 hours/6 days last week and so over it. Yay for casual rates and my 18th birthday payrise later this week.
Hopefully they payout all my overtime, but I reakon they will try and screw me over like usual.

Which state are you in? Because the pay rates are different in each state under the EBA.
But expect to start on around $9/hour for probation. Then after your probation period is over it will go up to around $10.50/hour.
They pay by bank deposit weekly and should provide a payslip the next day.
Once I did 6am-8pm and it was absolute hell. I'm non-salaried and I was on my own for most of the day in Bakery on a public holiday.
They paid it out no questions asked, big money. :D
I have supervisor privileges under the title service cashier instead of service supervisor. I don't really need them since I work in Bakery now but its nice being able to fix problems without needing a supervisor whenever I serve in express. Plus the quantity button is handy.

Generally working two departments is when they don't have enough staff to cope or they need someone extra to fill in. So in my experience its never a staff member going up to a manager and asking to be able to work in two departments its usually the other way around.
Do you remember the last time Woolworths staff online were caught up in an online scandal? It was on that myspace Woolworths discussion board where staff were bitching about customers and it ended up in the newspapers.
I don't know if anyone was sacked though.
