ok...from my experience last yr, i got a high e3, but i'm sure i only got around 50-ish% in the actual hsc exam. but this year's paper was easier and it's usually relative to the difficulty of the paper, so e4 cut-off might be high 50's-60/84 i suspect.
btw...what do you think mid-to-high...
i thought today's paper was harder than usual, and a bit weird, but not as hard as last year. a bit bummed i messed up the parabola question in 2c, but should be able to get full marks from Q. 1,3 and 4.
it was really weird coz there was no real cricle geometry question besides the last bit...
I found this year's paper easier relative to other years, such as last year. Hoping for a mid-to-high e3. I think i got around high 70's to 80 out of 120, because i went abit too slow and only answered 5/30 marks from Q 7-8.
I thought integration question was harder than usual! How do you...
yeah different/interesting question...i just answered it although it wasn't in the syllabus coz i knew everyone else was also in the same situation...
i had 55 mins to do it so i just brain dumped on abt islam and linked Muhammad's revelations with the Qur'an.
and just for the record, i'm so happy/relieved that karlovic didn't beat fed and make the final
i rly don't like karlovic coz all he rly has is his serve...all he does on return is use his fav backhand slice. i hated watching him beat tsonga and verdasco just by acing them.
i rkn the finals show that federer doesn't even need to play at 100% to win a GS. i think roddick played more consistently throughout the match, but federer's serving was way too good in the fifth set, and it was only inevitable that roddick would crack under pressure serving second.
it...
hmm...this thread has gone a bit quiet. i think i better try revive it.
english: :burn: too abstract/illogical...maths is more logical (and applicable)
Let's just admit it. What is the purpose of studying English at school? I mean, how do you apply all this crap about different language techniques, and analysing texts to life. We already know English, and an understanding of English (which most of us have) is all about English that is...
English is NOT a real subject...pure waste of time!
Maths is more important because it's the universal language
e.g. 1+1=2 wherever you go in the world
