yes!! This is the same for all interstate interviews. For example, if you live in Sydney, you have to fly to Adelaide for UADEL interviews and Melbourne for Monash interviews.
aah that makes sense! So when the rank me, i'm assuming they'll still use my original atar? Because that'll mean even if I am offered an interview and do well, my rank will still be very low :/

I was just wondering which Australian universities give out 2nd round interviews? And what are the conditions with which the interview offers are based on?
i.e. UADEL Med - 2nd round interviews based on UMAT:ATAR in a 1:2 ratio
UWS Med - 2nd round interviews...
I'm in a similar position to you! Let me know if you've found the 'best route' :) From what I understand, JMP, UNSW, UADEL (2nd round interview), Monash, JCU, Griffith and Flinders are probe the only places we might have a chance at getting an interview.
did you guys end up getting a conditional offer?
and my interview went for exactly 12 minutes (I think I talked too fast) and I had 3 people interview me (dean, a lovely old lady and a nice woman)
