    yes!! This is the same for all interstate interviews. For example, if you live in Sydney, you have to fly to Adelaide for UADEL interviews and Melbourne for Monash interviews.

    low UMAT, relatively high ATAR.

    I'm in a similar position to you! Let me know if you've found the 'best route' :) From what I understand, JMP, UNSW, UADEL (2nd round interview), Monash, JCU, Griffith and Flinders are probe the only places we might have a chance at getting an interview.

    did you guys end up getting a conditional offer? and my interview went for exactly 12 minutes (I think I talked too fast) and I had 3 people interview me (dean, a lovely old lady and a nice woman)
