Well I can only relate to my own experience. I tried to transfer to a uni closer to back where my parents lived and when I applied, even though my ATAR (then UAI) was quite a few points above the uai needed to get into the course I wanted to transfer into, I never got in. I called UAC up and...
Remember when trying to transfer uni's your GPA and ATAR will be the determining factor and you will be in competition from others. The Non Recent School Leaver cutoff is higher than Recent School Leavers
eh maybe those who choose to stereotype UWS without having any first hand experience or facts to back up their assumptions should really take it from someone who has graduated from UWS. I graduated from UWS in 2006 (am in the middle of my MBA at Newcastle Uni at the moment). I got a job straight...
Im not sure how many people graduate from business degrees every year, but it would be quite a lot.
I got my job simply by applying for it on seek. When I had the interview they were very interested in my past experience and extra curriculars, rather than my uni experience. A uni degree was a...

Yes, I dont think they are nessesary in lectures, in fact I only saw a handfull of students have them in lectures the whole 3 years I was there. Its fine to get one for home use or to take to the library, but its quite rare you see on in a lecture.
Not sure about Hawksbury, but when I was at Blacktown they have a few power outlets along the back wall of the big lecture theatre. All rooms are bound to have some power outlets, but not individual ones for every seat. I guess you will have to see where they are situated in the room and sit near it
Exactly. One of my friend's is a dietician. She did B of Applied Science in Nutrition and Food, followed by a Masters in Nutrition and Dietetics. You also have to be accredited by the DAA. Not sure if this is done through your degree/masters
