@ogmvvs I basically wrote the equation in the form of T=k+c(I-O), where I is the taxable income, then we rearrange to get 'I' and hence the income. To determine the constant, k (for plus something), we had to consider the limits of the income tax (we knew that it cannot be higher than the last row, so we would choose the second last row.

Also, did you mean to write sqrt(9)/15, or sqrt(9/15)?
