Yo do you reckon they mark you down for writing more then the space provided?

My handwriting is messy/big and i just memorise and regurgitate, like honestly i dont even know the writing verbs.

My teacher said i will get marked down if im not concise but i dont got time to practice answering technique

big part of exams is writing in a sophisticated way so being concise is important and also legible, readable handwriting is rlly important because you can lose meaning (and thereby lose marks) because the marker has to strain themselves to read your writing

no wayyyy they cant mark u down for more writing, hsc markers usually look more places to give u marks they never try to mark down

edit: if a section says dont write here then obv dont cuz these exams r being scanned

also ur handwriting could be an issue for markers so try to make it a bit less messy than usual

They can't mark down for messy handwriting, but it will still indirectly affect your mark, cause it causes your writing to not flow smoothly. So it might seem your writing is robotic.

genuine question for everyone - why are we predicting this? ik it's like 'oh they haven't tested this rubric thing yet' but one HSC year was challenges which isn't explicitly in the rubric - and 2020 was text-specific so it was ultra separate from rubric...idk I don't get the logic

I think it's just because it's a very good question for them to ask, and a very obvious one, but they haven't asked it yet and there are only 2 years left of the syllabus. I do think that they could literally just ask a specific human quality or something like that. For internals, we were asked about human flaws, which could also be an indirect way of asking about anomalies, paradoxes and inconsistencies
