how is the overall course of sci ext?why tf would you wanna do science ext I dont get it. getting a b6 is near impossible
yeah my teacher told us our competition will have 10 but I feel like that has to be exaggerationI mean considering you have 5-6 I think it's good for yr11, I did like around the same. My teacher recommended to do 7-9 in preparation for yr12 but I didn't rlly listen and still did good. 5 quotes will be good assuming each paragraph will be around 500 words, I'm assuming?
do you think 3 quotes per paragraph (its like 400-500 words for a body) is sufficient? I rlly don't wanna memorise too many quotesWell I feel like if you included any more quotes you wouldn't really have time to have detailed analysis, I find 4 quotes per paragraph a bit much LOL. Like I think generally an essay at abt 1k words is reasonable for 40 mins
its probably like small quotes which they embed into their analysis. that being said it depends on the module and structure you're doing, i think something like mod a it's def possible to have 10 quotes if theyre short esp since you're comparing two texts. there's diff ways to approach it tho, id say 3 is just scraping it, probs id recommend 4 minimum per para, i think you can strike a good balance between detail and good quote amnt w that number.yeah my teacher told us our competition will have 10 but I feel like that has to be exaggeration
Yeah definitely. I know a lot of people who do 3 quotes per paragraph for their essaysdo you think 3 quotes per paragraph (its like 400-500 words for a body) is sufficient? I rlly don't wanna memorise too many quotes
We're all cooked, send helpBruh, I have just bombed my english and earth test badly- I studied so much. Im burnt out, cannot be arsed to study anymore Ive honestly given up at this rate
I'm personally putting pressure on the main topics like Atomic Structure and Periodicity, Chemical Bonding, Quantitative Chemistry, Chemical Reactions and Thermodynamics, good luckGuys I'm cooked for my chem prelim. Which topics should I focus on (I have 10 days)
I hate that I tried so hard in term 1, now I'm burnt out asf.Has anyone else lost all motivation during prelims? I lost motivation in the MIDDLE of my english exam
After 3 hours of continuous writing I literally was not bothered writing anymore. I wrote 3 pages for the poetry section when the minimum should've been 4. I had time to write, as well as some analysis, but i could not be bothered so I just read over my SAC section in the remaining 15 minutes.
I don't know why but I cannot bring myself to do anything but sleep, and I've been bombing everything. I have SoR tmr can and I cannot be assed to study any further. Is anyone else feeling so burnt out?

I'm in the exact same boat, I put my all into my previous assessments for every subject but for prelims I completely gave up TT Thankfully the grade-drop won't be significant (Aside from maybe English, I'm probably dropping to a B) but it's still a disappointing way of ending yr11Has anyone else lost all motivation during prelims? Personally I just sit down with the textbook and start taking notes, or I start watching a lot of videos on the topic if I can't digest it through text at that momentOkay, so I have my bio prelim tomorrow and I'm cooked af. How do I spend the next 24 hours cooking so I can maximise the amount of content I can memorise? Help a girl out or otherwise I'm finna have to find a man in finance, trust fund, 6'5"

you basically do lessons on the theory of science and science practise while writing up a scientific report. i ended up dropping bcuz i couldnt be bothered to wake up at 8 for lessons. its more of a subject you do out of passion and if you want to go into the science field then one thats there to boost your atar. its a pretty good course if youre going into the science field. quite a few people will actually drop it before submission of the report and the hsc exam just so they can learn the concepts without having to do the assessmentshow is the overall course of sci ext?
