I just realised but isn't the maths taught in high school, usually maths revolved around how useful it would be in society? (rather than any type of complicated maths)
I thought that was for the general maths kids //coughs awkwardly

Nah look at junior maths as well, especially things like Statistics, area of volume, trigonometry, etc

Serious question but would they be able to put in a 4U topic which involves both calculus and probability? That'd be cool lol

Technically they can do that it's just nobody has gotten around to writing a decent probability question for the HSC because time.

Although on the other hand, it could be outside of the HSC due to PDFs and CDFs
