Hey guys!

I'm currently attending a top 30 fully selective school and just wanted to know what you guys thought the likelihood of me getting in James Ruse and Baulkham Hills for Year 11 (though I know that James Ruse also has an entrance test)

Reports:
-Year 8 Yearly - All A's except PE
-Year 9 Half-Yearly - All A's except PE
-Year 9 Yearly - All A's
-Year 10 Half-Yearly - All A's except PE

NAPLAN
-Year 7: all in triangle except Reading Band 8
-Year 9: all in triangle except Reading Band 10

Extra-Curricular Activities
-Received Extra-Curricular awards in Year 8 and 9
-Interact, Debating, Orchestra, SRC, Environment Committee (executive), Peer Support
-Awards for volunteering for Biggest Morning Tea and Clean Up Australia Day, involvement in school musical

Academic Awards
-Year 7: Academic Achievement, 1st in Mathematics and Japanese
-Year 8: Academic Excellence, Dux, 1st in Mathematics, Award for Achievement in Science
-Year 9: Dux, 1st in English, History and Japanese, All Rounders Award

The Arts
-Completed 7th Grade Piano and 3rd Grade Theory, will complete 8th Grade Piano and 4th Grade Theory this year (hopefully)
-Can also play Flute, Trumpet and Trombone

I'd fancy your chances of getting into Baulko, given your impressive application.

As for Ruse, it'll be dependent on your performance in the entrance exam.

I emailed both schools and Baulkham Hills said that they would have approximately 5-10 spots and James Ruse would have approximately 25 spots.

Is this just for Year 11 entry?

25 spots for Ruse seems very high.

yeah that seems like a lot of spots for ruse. I would think baulko would be the one with a high number of spots, even then it would only be around 10-15
