A GTX 670 will be better than 2 GTX 650's.

Personally I would cheap out on all the components except the GPU, it is the most crucial component for gaming.
That's if playing games is your main objective with this build.

I assume you have a monitor, mouse and keyboard already, if not be prepared to add another $200 to your bill.

that is what i was thinking but the new 650 "Boost" editions came out last week, and they seem pretty neat.

im gonna be running a triple monitor setup. but not all for gaming. i do some GFX (hence the 16gb ram) and record alot.

excellent choice on pccg

+1 to what irlol said re: 670 > 2x 650

only get an ssd if you really need it or have the money to spend imo
8gb ram would do you fine for less than half of the 16gb cost (again only if money is really a factor) edit: graphics shiz ye fair enough
power supply is the same as mine i believe, it's quality
nice cpu dayum gurl, though the cooler is excessive (unless you're overclocking it to the shitter) id probably go http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=207_23_845&products_id=22829 it suits me fine however I dont OC so I cant say how efficient it is in that regard, only my room gets super hot and this keeps my idle temps at around 40 and ~55 under stress (though with a CPU like that you probably wont have any need to OC anyway)

hmmm, ill take that into consideration about the 670s.

i wouldnt get a 3770K if i wasnt gonna OC it. i love pushing my hardware to the limits and i want to leave it in the trusty hands of the h100.

I wish I had a budget as high as yours when I built my PC.
I had $500 dollars.

16GB of ram is useless, go nothing more than 8GB. Get good quality 8GB instead of 16Gb.
The mother board is very good, the processor is alright but you do not need i7, i5 is more than enough because hyper threading is useless for gaming (it can be useful for future games)
get a single 670/680 and a get a good monitor. I recommend the benQ BenQ XL2420T

~peace out homie~

16gb ram VERY usefull when i am rendering and editing. i7 is great for when i am working on it so it seems to fit the bill.

not going for a 680 at all. 670 = 680, no difference between the 2 other than the price

yep, pretty much, at least not enough to justify the extra $$$

ye ye, i generally assume people are trying to save as much money as possible / go as cheap as they can for what they need
but this will last you a long time so the extra few $ now will be comparable to upgrading some parts earlier than you'd need to with this machine

done, im gonna start with 1 evga 670 and 1 monitor and as the time goes on and BF4 gets closer ill upgrade xD
ye, your 2nd and 3rd monitors dont even need to be anything special if you have decent software (nvidia control panel) which will make them look just as good as your main (or get gr8 ones, whatever floats ya boat)

gaming on 3 monitors is badass (you should get the 670 for that)

do note that not every game supports it & sometimes it could get a bit weird due to the bezels n stuff

I played bf3 on 3 monitors and I t was epic. But games like LoL and Dota2 don't really work.

I'm going for the asus vhs24sumtin.
2ms response time, 10,000,000:1 contrast, 24" led, small bezel and super thin. $200 each, so I'm going one at a time.
