Of all the high school Mathematics topics you have studied until now, which is the one you LEAST enjoy? Perhaps also provide a reason as to why you don't like it.

Perms and combs from 3 unit - I could never wrap my head around that stuff. I was thoroughly terrible at it.

3U - Binomial Theorem, Finance.

Circle Geometry I'm not that great at, but I do appreciate it. The 2 above I just don't like at all lol.

2U - Plane Geometry.
3U - Circle Geometry, Permutations and Combinations.
4U - not sure. Could be harder 3U since there's harder Circle Geometry. Out of my 4 topics so far - Complex, Conics, Curve Sketching and Polynomials... I'd say Complex is my least favourite...

Geometry has always been my weakest point since primary school years even.

Perms and combs because I can never understand the point of it.

Fav: circle geo for sure. So cool.

And to answer my own question...

2U: Consumer Arithmetic. All the questions had the same tedious processes and mindless calculations, sum of GP etc etc.

3U: Rectillinear Motion. Just found it to be so bland. No interesting problems rose from it.

4U: Volumes. Too straightforward and no interesting questions. Same old 'Construct an arbitrary slice, find delta V, integrate, blah blah"

2U - Consumer Arithmetic
3U - (I love the 3U course so its hard for me to choose), but I will say 'Harder Inequalities' (they aren't even hard)
4U - (Can't comment yet, but I am guessing it will be Volumes or Conics)

Perms and Combs is actually one of my favourite even though I am horrible at it haha

2U: whole of series and applications, I have 7 exercises of this and I'm trying my best to work through it, and possibly probability
3U: circle geometry and perms and combs, thank god these are only prelim topics

If it makes you feel better, I really like your username.

Also, regarding the 'thank god these are only prelim topics', there is no such thing as a 'Prelim course' and 'HSC course' like there is for the Sciences etc.

Anything taught in Year 11-12 can be assessed in the HSC because different schools do things in different orders.

For example, my school did Perms + Combs in Year 11, whereas another school may do it in Year 12. Regardless, P+C surely occurs in the HSC, as well as circle geometry.

lol they are in the HSC exam every year.

Also to answer the question:

2U - finance/consumer arithmetic
3U - angle between two lines/ratio division of an interval, also inverse trig
4U - graphs

<3 perms and combs, most fun topic.

2U - Finance (not enough of it imo, needs more of the present value, future value, annuity due and all that stuff - should teach more stuff that ppl in finance and actuarial will be under-going)
3U - Projectile Motion (not taught too well)
4U - Conics (too bland), Circular Motion (Not taught properly in general)

Circle Geometry, still hate tutoring it too

I hated the Financial Maths stuff because it was taught poorly by my teacher, but now that I've done it at uni it's much easier to understand.
