Didn't Jeff Geha do something similar? Get 100% or close to it in 4Unit?

By this year's change I personally think it results an lower difficulty (less questions to work through at least), so I think 3U 100% for sure, and 4U possibly very close to it if not 100%.
What happen when multiple people hit '1st place'? Several State 1st at the same time?

For 4U tbh, the major constraint at the top end isn't the timing but getting out the whole of Q8/Q16 now. As long as they make even just that question very hard, that in itself will limit top marks. I don't think anyone will get 100 raw this year- maybe 98 is first in state?

And if multiple people tie first, they look at 3U results to 1 decimal place.

Even so, as deswa1 said, the top people mostly lose marks in the last couple of questions. Also, the addition of multiple choice can easily throw off a lot of people and I personally believe that it will make the test harder since many trials have shown that a lot of working is needed for what used to be ~3 markers.

So this year the 4U exam is out of 120 or 100? and 3U is still out of 84?

I personally know the guy who topped MX2 last year and he got 99. for MX1 it is most certainly 100. I got 98 for chem which was top btw. I heard from some of my friends that 98 was top of english adv

Me? No way- there are quite a few people on BOS alone that are way more talented than me at maths. Hopefully I'll end up with a HSC mark of 96 or maybe 97 for 4U- that's the goal.
