I didn't write in report format but I doubt they'd crucify you over it, we may lose a few marks but I don't think it'd be a horrendous amount.

Percentage is gradually increasing however It's interesting that its so varied. The percentage for standard English band 6s is always around .02%.

So maybe the exam paper has been made easier to try and increase this percentage? Even so it doesn't make sense though since I thought the aligning process is meant to make these figures more consistent?

Its a percentage though, not the totally amount.

My theory is that the internet has gotten more people interested in computers, the internet has further allowed those people to develop there skills potentially resulting in the higher marks. Most of the skills which are tested in the exam can be learnt easily if someone has a nature interest and talent.

Since the internet was not as prominent or accessible back in the 1990s and early 2000s this has resulted in less people gaining a personal interest in IT.

I'm pretty sure they don't align subject because the HSC exam is 100% the subject. The only scaling they do is down because it's an easier subject. 100 percentile = 96.3 equivalent atar.

I'm pretty sure they count the year you sat for your ITvet HSC exam. You get that year's marks, no scaling this year.

No. Your mark would be scaled or aligned based on the year you sat it.

Was a joke I'm sure everyone would have scored in the 80-90s unless you were unconscious during the exam..

They gave you a clear picture of a mobo, and you had to say where the RAM sockets were lol.

I too wrote in report format after seeing it was pretty open. Wasn't sure if it was correct to do so but whatever. IT probably won't go towards my ATAR anyway since I do 13 units.
Wrote 6 pages for section 3. Can't remember about the other one though.

Lol it was sweet as man, so much better then getting shitty spread sheet questions or those discrimination ones or free mouse pad ones. Every question in this I.T exam was logical and straight forward if you knew your stuff.
