wrong(i)
(ii)
wrong(i)
(ii)
How is it wrong? =/wrong
That's basically the same as my first method, I don't understand why it's wrong.i) 7C2*5C2*3C2 = 630
I don't understand this one though...ii) 6C2*4C2*2 = 180
Yeah neither do I....i guessed it by thinking: take one person out, then solve the arrangement as in (i), then do the same for the second person. I just realised that doesnt take into account the fact that each could play someone else at the same time.....my bad.I don't understand this one though...
No idea what you're on about...I just realised that doesnt take into account the fact that each could play someone else at the same time.....my bad.
I don't see how it does this though...=/I think some of your answers are not taking into account doubling up...
e.g if ben plays say, prue then prue playing ben would also be valid but a double up...
dude thats a 4u perms and comb question. why the hell are u posting this in the ext1 marathonView attachment 23289
heres the solution to that question.
the answer to part (ii) is 90 btw. i couldnt printscreen the bottom part.
Seems 3 unit to medude thats a 4u perms and comb question. why the hell are u posting this in the ext1 marathon
this is from the sceggs darlinghurst 2009 4u paper q6
seriously this thread is just becoming an ext2 marathon with easy-med ext2 questions
You don't get this "removing the double pairs" stuff in 3U so we don't have stuff with /3! for example.Seems 3 unit to me
that should be fine. depends on how much your aiming for. if you want 95+ you need to finish paper quicker and alleviate any mistakes. This is a bit irrelevant but how long should it take for 3u students to finish the 2u paper? It takes me about an hour to go from q.1-5 is that too long?
That's pretty good. This is a bit irrelevant but how long should it take for 3u students to finish the 2u paper? It takes me about an hour to go from q.1-5 is that too long?
