My tutor gave it to me because he scanned the papers from my friend (who also gets tutoring with him)

Here's the trial paper btw, if anyone has the solutions, could you please scan them and upload them here or send it to me?

hahaha my maths teacher wrote that exam - the one who sets hard tests. i didn't think it was too bad. question 7 was pretty nice. but then again, it's 3u, they can't make it impossible haha.

Marking scheme was really strict, especially for 3d) Apparently only like 2 people out of 166 got full marks

Grade average was around 70% ha.
That's a pretty big spread....if the average is 70% and someone got full marks (let alone two people).

Your grade must have a pretty big tail? :S Or at the very least, a smaller, but quite heavy, tail.

It's that a lot of the 3U only students don't bother trying in 3U, since a lot of them know that it won't count towards their ATAR

I'll agree with that at my school. None of the 3U only students try because they think it won't count.

Yeah the tail is huge.. I got 78/84 for this exam which i was extremely disappointed with but the average for the classes who arent 4u classes was like below 50%........ TBH they should just drop it since they know its not gonna count
