A friend of mine is short-sighted from one eye and long-sighted from the other.

Dont worry, best cure for eye retardation, is put eyes in a bath of vinegar, and keep your eyes open for 10 minutes. It fixes it. Or just spray them with windex.

well i am azn so the problem isn't fuzzy eyesight, the problem is i don't see enough because i can hardly open my eyes

Might i ask how this came to be?

Eh I was born with some condition, I don't know the name, but I have a fiberous growth on my cornea. So most of my sight is blocked, not really 'fuzzy', I see bits and pieces here and there from that eye.
So there ya go

How do you know it's 15cm?
i think for me it's like 50cm.

i take off my glasses, put my hand in front of my eyes and draw it away from my ace and stop when it gets fuzzy. i then measured the distance.
easy.

Some people have very different prescriptions for each eye.
An earlier post, if i recall states she had -4 on her right and -2.5 on her left.
