maths 2u and 3u (1 Viewer)

At the moment for maths 2u we are doing stuff like non-monic/monic equations, difference of two squaress etcc and for 3u we are doing geomtry stuff like equal arcs subtend equal angles and opp. angles in a cyclic quad are supplementary.

In my opinion 2u is harderr thann 3u, im just wondering what is it like for you guyss?

It's actually good that you find circle geometry easy because some people reckon its the hardest 3u topic

No, some of the easier parts of 3u are easier than the harder parts of 2u.....3U is a harder course...It's odd you're doing different topics though, we always did one topic right rough, started with 2U then extended

3u is much more fun...

wen i was doing pp for hsc i wuld really enjoy doing 3u over 2u because 2u was so bland and repetitive... but in 3u u get to apply the principles more and thats much more fun...esp wen u solve a difficult question.

We're doing the 2unit topic, then continue it with 3unit - type questions. 3unit is definately harder, however not significantly at the moment.

Schools you are not large most often have 3 unit students in the 2 unit class, and then hold 3 unit lessons before/after school.

If my school didnt do that, there would be 9 people in one class and 7 in the other... makes no sense to have separate classes really.

Yeah, some schools do teach 2U and 3U concurrently which i find quite silly.

i did a 2U test today and the quesstions in there were surprising.. i totally flunked 2-3 questions.. : (
im kinda worried bout 3U
well inequations is alright =)
