Write. I seem to memorise my notes better as i can visualise my own hand writing during exams and simply replicate it on the exam paper. Sounds dumb but it works for me.

I type, and then write final notes before exams.

Lol i write my notes cuz i always get distracted from studies when i go on the computer.

You should always aim to handwrite your notes. When you handwrite you learn what you are writing much more effectively because you have to think a ton more than when typing. Plus mistakes are harder to remove so you are always forced to think about what you are writing instead of repeatedly deleting as done on a computer. Also, your brain responds much more to your own handwriting than to typed up notes.

Also you can draw diagrams etc and formulas are easier to write in hand.

That being said, i only wrote notes for about a month in year 12 then i gave up. You can survive in high school by simply scabbing notes off BoS and your friends.

I typed my notes - my writing is horrid, editing is easier, adding pics is easier, formatting is easier; overall it's easier on the eyes

Much easier to back up too... if you write yours and you lose things easily like me it could be hell :/
