Definatetly not.

Illegal drugs are wrong on many levels. Drugs can cause serious and permanent damage to their users as well as greater society when people become addicted, leading to higher levels of street violence and theft.

It would be wrong for the government to ever endorse such substances through legalising them in my opinion.

So do a fuck load of legal drugs.

Most notably alcohol, which causes far more damage to society than the illicit ones you're talking about.

Alcohol does cause more damage to society than drugs do.

However that does not give a reason why currently illegal drugs should be legalised.

If anything it provides a reason for them to remain illegal, because otherwise they will become as easily accesssable as alcohol is now. If nothing else, branding certain drugs as illegal provides a disincentive for people to use them.

The only reason illicit drugs are doing less harm to society at the present time is because....they're illicit, and therefore harder to access and are much less frequently used.

Also, the only reason alcohol and tobacco are not illegal now is because these two drugs are so far imprinted in social culture (especially alcohol) and there is an enormous amount of profit generated from these two drugs. In addition, the government is making big money out of these two industries.

It's sad, but we are stuck with these drugs. Best not make the situation worse by legalising illicit drugs.

None of them, except for necrophilia, unless you have consent of the dead person or their next of kin.

'Children' seems to be a flexible term, although I'm sure I'll be told various irrelevant legal definitions here.

I've eaten camel, which I'm told tastes like horse, so I have no objection to that. Not sure why the West has an issue with eating dog.

Cannibalism again seems fine with consent, although there are obvious health risks involved.

Nudity offends people simply because they're offended by it. Hopefully we'll soon get over it, and people will be able to (un)dress how they want. If I don't want to see someone's cock or cunt, I won't look, tbh.

Swearing is an issue of sociolinguistics, and unless you want to get into an argument with me about it /shrug

The rest is just fiddle faddle.

So in conclusion, I have a conditional problem with things to do with children simply because of the ad hoc issue of consent. No problems with anything else, really.
Pretty much this.

I have underlined the taboos related to my stance as a vegetarian (eating animals, eating humans, bestiality).

I have placed an asterix next to drugs because I think regulation is warranted depending on the nature of the substance - e.g. I am not too fussed about marijuanna, ecstasy, LSD, whereas I am inclined to think that cocaine, GHB and crystal meth are somewhat more problematic. I also feel that incest and prostitution should be kept free of coercion. In short, I feel that these things (incest, prostitution, drug use) are not wrong in and of themselves but they have a tendency to occur within the context of exploitative relationships.

I tried being a vegetarian for a period. Those vege delite burgers you get from woollies taste like chicken patties, and I was like ok if I want to eat something that tastes like chicken I'll just eat a bloody chicken.

Worst person.

I'm gonna nitpick because I agree with you on the big things.

You're (nearly) a doctor dude, so what the hell? GHB? Seriously? It's alcohol without the hangover and without the toxicity, and no more potent (remember, nobody sane drinks 100% ethanol). It's probably one of the softest drugs out there, just with a shitty reputation for date rape (which could be done with lots of other drugs, and often is - including alcohol). It's also naturally produced by your body each as a neurotransmitter.

Dude do you have any idea how accessible drugs are? They're fairly fricken accessible.

The problem with them being illegal is that;
- the prices remain high
- their content remains unregulated which means one minute you're getting impure stuff mixed with washing powder, and the next minute you're buying relatively pure shit and you're dying in a pool of your own vomit

I mean, as I said I have reservations about drugs like heroin and ice, but there are a bunch of other drugs that if regulated would be more harmless than alcohol.

People on eccies don't glass people, people with 12 beers under their belts do.

You dont realise that Christianity has gradually become the greater taboo. Basically, youve listed things that Christians have problems with but which, thru a series of easy compromises with satan, have become (or are becoming) acceptable by an alarmingly 'throw-away', pagan and nihilistic culture that exists for nothing but the present and continued selfish and unyeilding sensation of the 'almightly' and 'free' individual.

Prisoners of your own egos.

Referring to kids in any sexual manner is just wrong, and kids can't give consent. Also incest = fucked up kids.
Everything else doesn't phase me. I'm a llttle bit offended by the amount of people against cannibalism though.

Also ask yourself are you an organ donor? Would you donate your lifeless corpse to science? A mate of mine has signed a contract giving consent for her body to be used as art. This includes taxidermia and any positions/alterations the artist might want to do with the cadaver.

Incest doesn't necessarily mean between an adult and a child.

If two closely related adults want to engage in a sexual relationship, should they be allowed?

Just thinking the same thing. Ever wondered why it was? Religion is losing against society, and you blame Satan and the society. Cast a look in the mirror and see the sins of Christianity and most other religions.

Anything that restricts my rights or instincts as a human shouldn't exist or effect me unless I consent to it.

I meant the kids borne from such a relationship would have down syndrome and autism etc. Bad bad genes.
Couldn't care about the relationship itself. What's a little incest among family, eh?
