What do you think, will they screw us over again by having only one related text for Paper 2? (other than module b)

I predict for Advanced:
Module A - Essay or speech.
Module B - Letter.
Module C - Radio transcript. Will ask for two related texts.

And I am probably and hopefully totally wrong :D

I am hoping for:
Module A - Essay.
Module B - Essay.
Module C - Essay. One related text.

And that is most likely not going to happen.

For some reason I think the Board of Studies are going to make the paper super difficult.
Prepare for the worst.

There are no related texts for Mod A is there? I thought it was just comparative study so other than your 2 texts there are no other texts to study?

I would really like a discussion of only one related text though in Mod C :)
Yup, no related texts for Module A

CSSA trials had Module C as a speech, and that caught me off guard.
But this time i'm going in much more wiser in the area of adaptation ;)

If they specify a poem and its the wrong one or make us do more than two, I will rip the paper up, i may then ask for another if i'm feeling audacious

If module A it would probably be a Radio interview or something.
Module C will def be the speech.

I don't mind writing speeches.
Writing radio transcripts and letters are a completely different matter. We had to write a letter in our prelim. It was terrible.
Oh noes, they might go with the traditional 'write a letter to the board of studies about how the study of module _ has improved your ______ with reference to your prescribed text and atleast 2 other related texts'

^ we did that for hamlet, but in speech form earlier this year :(

... so whats a list of text types we could be asked? I've always been wanting to look for one, but never been able to find it... Letters? How would you write an essay based letter?

Our teacher basically just said: essay, speech, interview, journal (wdf? essay based journal?), feature article...

I'm fine with almost anything for module A, and hopefully should be alright with a essay/speech in module C (but I'd fail with an interview), but anything but an essay/feature article for module B and I'd be screwed.
