ATAR estimate - just wondering what you guys think (1 Viewer)

hi guys i was just wondering if i am still able to get an ATAR of 80
ok so my trials didnt go to well i stuffed up some of my subject however my rank is sill ok so tell me if you guys think i can still get at least 80 my course requies 77.

chemistry - averaging 60 overall rank 6/12 i think
biology - averaging 70 overall rank i think didnt get back yet 12/24
ancient history - averaging 75 6/17 i think
advaced english - solid B and top 20-15 out of 60 people
business studies - top 5 out 25 people averaging 80
general maths - averaging 80 top 15 out of 50 people

AND i am studying my ass off this next six weeks to improve i really want to get into my degree so get back to me

We can't do anything without your school rank, and it'd be better if you started your own thread XD

Only last year was 124 - an epically stupid year.

Every other year we've floated around 70s-90s


It doesn't actually matter how many people are in my grade, just my rank, how many people are above me and my gap marks to them and how i perform in my externals.

On the contrary, it is actually really important. If you had 1000 people in your grade but you had those ranks, you could still get 99+ with a school rank of 600. School rank is determined by the percentage of band 6s (not the amount), so, yeah, it's undeniably relevant. but in this case it's only relevant as to looking at whether you get 99+ or 99.5+

I had identical ranks, bar modern history which I didn't do in a mid 200 ranked school and got mid 97 atar (using the uai equivalent pdf), so you should expect high 98 to low 99.
