which is pretty much definite since they are doing a sideshow at hordern end of July.

Alright people, clear the diary and air out the gumboots: Splendour In The Grass has revealed where and when the party will be going down in 2009. Those rumours of a change in venue haven’t eventuated, with the festival returning to its hallowed stomping ground of Belongil Fields. The weekend it’s set to go down is Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July. “Splendour hopes to be at its new home in 2010, the festival’s 10th anniversary,” the organisers have added.

The first line-up for 2009 is expected towards the end of April. In the meantime, you can busy yourself with speculating on which bands might be making the Splendour In The Grass trip. Then let the memories come flooding back with our ‘Best Of Splendour 2008’ gallery.
