Let's hope so.

Will be interesting to see how the aussies fare in playing the Ashes without their experienced players.

Would love to see Siddle do well over in South Africa. Also, i'm keen to see Hughes playing for Australia and dare I say the Ashes. I think he needs to be nurtured into the team though, as no doubt the media will latch onto him should he fail.

For the first time in a long time, the Aussies are no longer certainties in whoever they face. Should be a great year.

Warner made more runs than the amount of balls he faced against South Africa...No surprise from that 20/20 match :).

Once Tait dropped Morkel, we had no hope.

Two dropped catches in the first over doesn't do the team any good either.

Hmmm. I hope we actually have to chase in Adelaide and see how RSA go at setting a target instead of chasing one down.

Yeah it is getting boring watch SA chase all the time. In the whole tour, including the Tests and Twenty20s, SA have only won the toss and batted first once.

Australian batting lacks depth, especially with mike hussey out of form and michael clarke out injured. Cameron White, James Hopes, David Hussey, etc can score 30 but thats it. There no confidence.

Bring in phillip hughes instead of warner the one hit wonder. Hughes was the one that carried NSW through the Twenty/20 tournament and now to India.

And get a decent all-rounder and spinner

Stuart Clark will play on the tour of South Africa and in future matches. This should bring us success, cause i believe that in test matches especially, the South Africans play a lot of defenisve cricket when it comes to batting. take for example, McKenzie, Prince, Kallis and De Villiers. they all like to leave large amounts of balls alone. Clark bowls that naging line and length in the zone of uncertainity- whether to leave alone or not... and i think, as per his previous debut tour to South Africa, he and the Aussies will experience some success...

Well, at least as we watch the last bastion of skill and respect in the Australian team crumble, we can take heart in the fact that no matter how far we fall, we will never be as bad as England. Never mind the (probably depressing) series in South Africa, bring on the Ashes!

Can't believe we lost an ODI series to a team that has Neil McKenzie in it...
